Turn up, Switch on and Log in
When you visit MuPrint you can access our WiFi – for free.
MUPRINT is the home of Manchester’s friendly FREE WiFi hotspot.
Dated: February 2012
When you visit MuPrint you will have access to our WiFi connection. You can pick up your email, send some replies, check the news headlines, do a bit of surfing – and it is all absolutely free of charge when you visit MuPrint at Victoria Hall, Higher Cambridge Street.
There’s no purchase necessary to surf – just turn up, switch on and log in.
MuPrint Manager Chris Leuty said: “We wanted to give something back to the student community for supporting us so much in our first month in business. We wanted something useful and a little bit different from Print.
“As MuPrint runs a Facebook page and Twitter feeds, we thought a free WiFi connection to visitors to the shop would be the right thing to do. And we have fibre optic broadband so it’s very fast too.”
MuPrint hopes the service will bring more customers to the shop which has recently been redecorated and will be having its hard flooring carefully cleaned by the same people who clean the floors of the Royal Northern College of Music later this month.
It sounds great, but what’s the catch with MuPrint WiFi?
We don’t think there is one! If you are already a Fon member, e.g. through BT Total Broadband, simply log on to the Fon service as usual and away you go. Everybody else will need to ask a member of staff for the current password. That’s it! There’s no purchase necessary.
